The Holy Luang Phu Boon, the abbot of Wat Klang Bang Kaeo, living between BE 2391 to BE 2478

Luang Phu Boon, born Boon at Ban Nang Sao, Talad Mai, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province on July 3, BE 2391 in the reign of King Rama III of Bangkok. Boon started his primary education at the age of 13 at Wat Kongkaram or today Wat Klang Bang Kaeo, Nakhon Pathom Province under the care of Pra Palat Thong, the abbot of Wat Kongkaram. At the age of 15, Boon ordained as a novice. At the age of 19, Boon got very sick, and quitted being a novice, after recovery, Boon ordained as Buddhist monk at the age of 22 at Wat Kongkaram. Pra Palat Thong was the abbot of Wat Kongkaram, and a teacher of Luang Phu Boon at that time. Pra Palat Thong had very high power to stop flood, Wat Kongkaram which is next to Nakhon Chai Si River, and had never been flooded while Pra Palat Thong was there. Once Pra Palat Thong dived into the river to do pile work his monk robe was not wet. Luang Phu Boon studied Dharma, Buddhist Sutras, Vipassana-Kammatthana (meditation), and Vicha-akom (magical power) from Pra Palat Thong. And another teacher of Luang Phu Boonwas Pra Palat Paan, the abbot of Wat Tukkata, Nakhon Pathong Province whose pink look-om, a pink holy powder ball amulet is one of the most powerful holy powder ball amulet of Thailand.

Laung Phu Boon of Wat Klang Bang Kaeo was a teacher of Luang Phor Tay Kongthong of Wat Sam Ngam, the Thailand’s BEST maker of Kumanthong Statue, Luang Phor Cham of Wat Ta Gong, and Chao Khun Si of Wat Suthat.

There were many types of amulets made by Luang Phu Boon, for examples, baked clay, lead-alloy (Nu Tagua), special bluish lead alloy (Nua Mekkapat), brass coin, copper coin, Pra Chaiyawat Figurine, Pra Somdej, but the famous one is the “Pong Ya Vassana Chindamanee”, a mixture of sacred plants powder that contains powder crushed from rhino horn or “Pen Ts' ao Kang Mu” in Chinese that believed to pull back people from the death minutes after their last breath by blending the Pong Ya Vassana Chindamanee with water. The Pong Ya Vassana Chindamanee is also with the power of wealth fetching, medical treatment, Metta Maha Niyom (making people around you love you and kind to you), and safety.  

Luang Phu Boon passed away on April 8, BE 2478 at the age of 87 with 56 years in Buddhist Monk Monastery.
