Made by Luang Phor Ding of Wat Bang Wua (Wat Utsapharam), Chachoengsao Province in BE 2467 (CE 1924). Luang Phor Ding of Wat Bang Wua is one of the 3 Thailand’s BEST maker of Ling Gae, a wood carving Hanuman or Monkey King amulet. Luang Phor Ding of Wat Bang Wua (Wat Utsapharam), Chachoengsao Province, living between BE 2420 to BE 2495 (CE 1877 to CE 1952)

Luang Phor Ding born Ding Hemmaluan on Mar 14, BE 2420 at Ban Koh Lang, Bang Wua, Chachoengsao Province. Ding started his primary education at Wat Bang Wua, and later ordained as Buddhist monk at the age of 20 in BE 2440, and Luang Phor Dit of Wat Bang Samak was his preceptor, Luang Phor Jang of Wat Bang Samak was an Ordination Master, and Pra Archan Plod of Wat Bang Wua was a Second Ordination Master. After 2 years at Wat Banag Wua, Luang Phor Dng went to Wat Traimit Withayaram, Bangkok to study Buddhism for a year, and Luang Phor Pia, the abbot of Wat Bang Wua had passed away, and Luang Phor Ding was invited to be an abbot at Wat Bang Wua only after 3 years as Buddhist Monk.

Luang Phor Ding study Vicha Arkom (wizardry, the art or practice of magic) from Luang Phor Dit of Wat Bang Samak, Luang Phor Ple of Wat Wat Ban Kao,  and Luang Phor Per of Wat Chuan Khuean Khan. The famous work of Luang Phor Ding is Ling Gae, a Hanuman or Monkey King Amulet carved from root of crown flower plant, and root of Cape jasmine/Gardenia jasmine. The Hanuman of Luang Phor Ding is one of the 3 Thailand’s BEST maker of Monkey King Amulets. The BEST 3 are 1)Ling Gae of Luang Phor Ding of Wat Bang Wua, 2)Hanuman of Luang Phor Soon of Wat Sala Kun, and 3)Ongkot of Luang Phor Paan of Wat Bang Krasop.

Luang Phor Ding passed away on Aug 6, BE 2495, at the age of 75, 55 years as Buddhist monk. Nowadays, Luang Phor Anan of Wat Bang Phli Noi , Samut Prakan Province follows the process of making Hanuman amulet accordingly to Luang Phor Ding’s. Luang Phor Anan is a disciple of both Luang Phor Chim and Luang Phor  Taep, the previous abbots of Wat Bang Phli Noi, and 2 of disciples of Luang Phor Ding of Wat Bang Wua.
