between BE 2420 to BE 2495 (CE 1877 to CE 1952)
Luang Phor
Ding born Ding Hemmaluan on Mar 14, BE 2420 at Ban Koh Lang, Bang Wua,
Chachoengsao Province. Ding started his primary education at Wat Bang Wua, and
later ordained as Buddhist monk at the age of 20 in BE 2440, and Luang Phor Dit
of Wat Bang Samak was his preceptor, Luang Phor Jang of Wat Bang Samak was an
Ordination Master, and Pra Archan Plod of Wat Bang Wua was a Second Ordination
Master. After 2 years at Wat Banag Wua, Luang Phor Dng went to Wat Traimit
Withayaram, Bangkok to study Buddhism for a year, and Luang Phor Pia, the abbot
of Wat Bang Wua had passed away, and Luang Phor Ding was invited to be an abbot
at Wat Bang Wua only after 3 years as Buddhist Monk.
